Taking yoga beyond the mat

Tricia is a wonderful and dynamic teacher with a wellspring of strength that might surprise you. As a mother of two boys (11 and 13) she has been working on balance in life for years. She is an inspiration in her authentic quest to help create joy and purpose of existence for herself and others. She has been energetically inclined since childhood and moves through life with a beautiful awareness of subtlety. In becoming a Reiki practitioner she heightened that awareness even further. This transformative reach went further when she trained with Ana Forrest. She was assisting in dentistry when she began her teacher training with Ana Forrest and came to realize that her life was primed for a big shift. She decided to share the life changing effects that yoga had had for her with others through rededicating her life. She began teaching yoga at the Rockin' Horse Dance Barn in Renton and works at Village Green Yoga as an Instructor and can be seen in the boutique 4 days a week! You can also catch Tricia's classes Tuesday mornings at OM Yoga in Redmond. Her teaching style is expansive and will help create great shifts in your body and your way of interacting with the world.

She continues to grow as a teacher and is going to be attending Yoga for Scoliosis Training with Elise Browning Miller this year. Having practiced yoga with severe scoliosis herself for years she is intrigued to find out how others address the issues of this body altering medical condition.
